Review Us

Must visit cafe in Goa. We highly recommend this place. Food taste is amazing for everyone as they customise it according to every customer’s taste buds. Also, because they prepare every dish freshly it takes time to serve in comparison to other cafe/restaurants. If you like freshly prepared delicious meal this place is for you. We ordered roasted masala papad, chatpata french fries, 4 tandoori rotis, aloo matar sabzi, plain butter milk, & 2 bowls of gulab jamun (one bowl is 2 pcs of gulab jamuns) and the bill was INR 650.
Okay, just visit this place. You won’t regret it for more than one reasons. In that area, it’s really helpful to have a cafe like that. The head/owner is hardworking and has a great smile.
Finger licking good fish thalis. Great staff. Place doesn’t look very fancy but the food is very good and the place is very clean.
Amazing food with very polite staff. Do visit if you want proper Indian food.
Amazing hospitality. The food here is simply awesome. One must try tandoor here. Very budget friendly place.
Amazing food at such affordable rates. A meal for 2 can easily be managed in 300-350 ( which is super cheap given the high amount charged to tourists in Goa ). Both quality and quantity of food are unmatched. Very homely food which you can consume daily and still not fall sick or get tired of it. Even my 4yr old kid liked it. The hosts are very polite and they love to speak to their customers. Will be a MUST place for us to eat if we are in palolem.
Great place where we can get home foods. Authentic punjabi thalis. It’s very delicious and mouth watering. They have Goan fish thalis as well which are equally very yumm.
Very comfortable place. Owner is very warm and accommodating. Food was a bit on the higher price point but al in all worth the price. They make the dish fresh and all homemade and authentic.
When we first went over there, the lady manager was yelling at her staff and we felt bad. But the food was awesome. We went there again the next day and the lady manager was not there and the service was so poor that we understood why she has to yell like this. We had to wait for more than an hour and the food was also terrible. The staff were so rude and lousy. The vegetables were not cooked and the paneer was so hard that when I tried to cut it with the spoon it jumped on me. The uncle also yelled at us. The lady manager actually makes that place better.EDIT after owner’s response: please read my full review instead of getting defensive over the first sentence! I’ve mentioned clearly that the owner was right because the staff is lousy and the food was horrible which we experienced on our second visit there. So yes, we did experience the other side of the coin too.
The food taste amazing. There are variety of dishes and uncle got unique flavours in each one of them.
Great hospitality and food is amazing too, the owners are very kind and will check with you if you are enjoying your food. They even recommend options to you. Its a low profile restaurant which is situated little away from restaurants but it’s worth it
If you want to eat brilliant food in South Goa, just go there without giving a thought. It is too good with a very nice vibe. Also, the hospitality is amazing.
I wanted some homely food and that’s just what I got here. But they do have all kinds of food, Chinese, Indian, etc. The owner is very friendly and bubbly as well. Good service and a nice quaint ambience.
Great restaurant, good price, good taste, good ambience.Lunch for 6 with 3 fried rice, 2 chicken Manchurian and 1 veg thali, along with drinks came to a total of 1500rs. And it was very filling. In contrast, we had only starters at a place just down the road with the bill coming to 1700+If you’re on a budget, this is the place to go.Courteous staff as well.Clean area.
Food is good. Pocket friendly place. South Indian tiffins are available here at decent prices. Only problem is takes time to prepare food
What do you need when you go out for food?Good taste and healthy conversation. I found both at this place. Thank you Gunjan and Uncle. Kudos for your work 👍.
I just went there to take delivery for a naan and one starter but ended up in ordering a total of 4 items. Food is really good. The best part, I wanted to have cauliflower tikka and it’s was not there in the menu and they specially made it for me. It’s was damn tasty. If you like talking, which I am, then you can talk with uncle till your order arrives.A very good gesture by the owner is that he greets his every guest with a smile, that’s appreciable. They have an open glass kitchen and proper hygiene is maintained which is very much needed during these times. You will get food from breakfast to dinner.Being a vegetarian, finding good vegetarian food is pretty hard in Goa, but my search ended here!!!One great thing about the owner is that he is always ready to help people, I saw one person coming to him and he didn’t had money, he wanted to have daal. Uncle generously packed daal and provided it to him.Your talks doesn’t make you earn respect but your actions does… And he has earned my respect.Do visit this place to have good food and a great chat (only if you want to)Kudos to Kasish cafe’s team!
